  • Click on the ‘Add New’ button. The ‘Install Plugins’ page will open.
  • On the screen that appears, you will be able to type a word or phrase for whichever plugin you are looking for. If you know your plugin’s name, you can enter its name in the space provided. But if you are looking for a plugin to do a particular task, you will have to enter the relevant phrase.
  • After that, click on the ‘Search Plugins’ button. A list of plugins available for download will appear. Browse through this list and search for an appropriate WordPress plugin.
  • Once you have found the plugin of your choice, click on the ‘Install Now’ button.
  • Allow the installation process to complete. You will be notified when it will be installed on your PC. It will ask you whether you want to activate the plugin now or not. If you want to do so, just click on ‘Activate now’.
  • You can now see the plugin you have recently installed in your ‘Manage Plugins’ tab. You can change the settings of the plugin from here.
